Assistant Store Manager
About this role
An Assistant Store Manager is needed to support store operations in Lekki, Lagos, acting as deputy to the Store Manager and covering duties during their absence. The role focuses on sales performance, customer service, inventory control and staff supervision for a full-time position with rotational shifts.
What you would do
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, cash controls and regulatory requirements.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Prepare and review sales, stock, staffing and operational reports.
- Control shrinkage, damages, expiry, wastage and stock discrepancies.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales, profitability and operational targets.
- Monitor daily store performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.

- Experience in inventory management, sales monitoring and team supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, POS systems and retail reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and customer service skills.
- HND/BSc in Business Administration, Retail Management, Management Sciences or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail, FMCG or store operations including supervisory or management responsibilities.
