About this role
The Assistant Maintenance (Electrical) Officer role with Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited is based in Lagos. It supports the Maintenance Manager/Chief Engineer to ensure electrical systems, equipment and facilities within the hotel or organisation operate safely, efficiently and reliably. It is suitable for someone carrying out electrical maintenance in a hospitality setting.
What you would do
- Carry out routine inspection, servicing and maintenance of electrical installations and equipment.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
- Maintain lighting systems, sockets, switches, distribution boards and electrical appliances.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and replace faulty components when required (bulbs, switches, cables, breakers).
- Monitor power supply and electrical distribution; support operation of generators and changeover systems; report any abnormal fluctuations or faults promptly.
- Respond to electrical emergencies, isolate faulty circuits and ensure area is safe until repairs are completed.
