What you would do

• Implement and monitor internal control systems, policies and SOPs.
• Conduct stock audits and process audits and assess compliance.
• Monitor inventory variances, wastage, damages and adjustments.
• Identify operational risks and control gaps; suggest corrective actions.
• Review transactions and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure adherence to approved procedures and segregation of duties.
• Investigate irregularities, losses and control breaches; escalate significant findings.
• Track progress of audit recommendations and their implementation.
• Prepare internal control, audit and compliance reports.

• Bachelors degree (BSc/HND) in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in internal control, internal audit, risk or compliance.
• Mandatory experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• ICAN/ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
