Assistant Financial Controller

What you would do
- Support daily finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, purchasing and reporting.
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
- Partner with leaders to improve profitability and manage costs.
- Prepare accurate reports and provide commercial insights.
- Support cash flow management, credit approvals and debt recovery.
- Ensure compliance with Accor policies and internal controls.
- Improve financial processes and systems to drive efficiency.
- Support the development and performance of the Finance team.

- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
- 3+ years' experience in a senior finance role.
- Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen and cost management experience.
- Knowledge of PAYG, GST, Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation, BAS, Accounts Payable and Superannuation.
- Experience with accounting systems; Opera Cloud, Zambion Ready Workforce, Purchase Plus, Micros Symphony, and Sun Cloud advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
