Assistant Feed Mill Supervisor
About this role
An Assistant Feed Mill Supervisor role supporting the Feed Mill Supervisor in managing daily production, ingredient weighing, and record keeping at a farm with a four tonne per hour mill. It is for someone who is willing to reside on the farm in Oyo/Otte area and work closely with the Quality Control Supervisor and mill attendants.
What you would do
- Assist in daily production and batching planning
- Coordinate feed mill attendants under the supervisor
- Ensure ingredients, including micronutrients, are ready for each batch
- Follow approved formulas and correct batch quantities
- Identify and label feed types during production, storage, and dispatch
- Support timely delivery of feed to poultry pens and maintain accurate records

- Previous hands-on experience in a feed mill or feed production operation
- Experience with crushers, conveyors, mixers, weighing scales, and bagging equipment
- Ability to read and follow feed formulas and calculate batch quantities
- Accurate weighing, counting, and basic record-keeping skills

- Willingness to reside on the farm and to assist with ingredient procurement when required
