Asset Assurance and Risk Specialist
About this role
The Asset Assurance and Risk Specialist manages risks and protection for Ikeja Electric’s assets, including real estate, fleet and administrative resources, to maintain asset integrity and support operational continuity. The role reports to the Administrative Service Manager and involves coordinating insurance, risk assessments, and data analysis for asset management in Lagos.
What you would do
- Develop and implement asset assurance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular asset assessments and inspections to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with technical, finance, and fleet teams to ensure assets meet safety and operational standards.
- Identify, analyse and document asset risks and create mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with the Administrative Service Manager and insurers to secure appropriate coverage for high-risk assets.
- Prepare regular reports on asset assurance and risk management metrics for senior leadership.
What they are asking for
- HND or BSc in Estate Management, Estate Surveying and Valuation, or related Environmental Science field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in asset management or risk related role.
- Membership of NIESV is an added advantage; professional registration with ESVARBON and related certifications are a plus.
