Asset Assurance and Risk Specialist
About this role
Asset Assurance and Risk Specialist who will manage and mitigate risks related to Ikeja Electric’s assets, including real estate, fleet and administrative resources, to support operational continuity and asset integrity in Lagos. The role reports to the Administrative Service Manager.
What you would do
- Conduct regular asset assessments and inspections
- Collaborate with technical, finance, and facility and fleet teams to ensure assets meet safety and operational standards
- Develop and implement asset assurance policies and procedures
- Manage asset damage or loss claims with insurance providers
- Create risk management training and awareness programs
- Prepare reports on asset assurance and risk metrics for senior leadership
What they are asking for
- HND or BSc in Estate Management, Estate Surveying and Valuation or related Environmental Science field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Lagos and Ogun State property laws and land tenure
- Practical experience in property valuation and market assessment
- Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills
- Experience with statutory approvals and regulatory compliance for properties and facilities
