Artificial Lift Field Specialist
About this role
An Artificial Lift Field Specialist role based in Port Harcourt, Rivers, responsible for safe, efficient delivery and support of artificial lift equipment and services to customers. The position involves field installations, commissioning, troubleshooting and mentoring, with a focus on HSE and service quality.
What you would do
- Supervise field installation of artificial lift equipment
- Lead pre-job readiness activities and risk assessments
- Set up and commission variable speed drives (VSD)
- Troubleshoot and repair surface equipment (VSDs, switchboards, transformers)
- Maintain safety and technical training compliance
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to team members

- Diploma or HND in a technical, engineering or related field
- 5-10 years experience leading artificial lift operations including field installations and troubleshooting of ESPs, ESPCPs, HPS and VSDs
- Experience with complex ESP installations (Y-tool, shrouds, PODs and dual ESP systems)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
