About this role
The role is to provide marine operations expertise to support offshore activities at Onne in Rivers State. It requires ensuring compliance with COMPANY marine procedures and HSE rules and coordinating with vessel officers, crew and contractors. The position is open to Nigerian nationals only.
What you would do
- Provide marine operations expertise to support offshore activities at Onne
- Ensure contractors comply with COMPANY marine procedures, CMS and HSE rules
- Conduct inductions for vessel officers and crew
- Lead OVID inspections and participate in incident investigations
- Represent COMPANY during rig and barge moves and approve anchoring procedures
- Oversee DP operations
What they are asking for
- Marine background and experience in marine operations with a Master's certificate for seagoing vessel or unlimited Chief Engineer licence
- Valid OVID certificate
- Education in Marine Engineer or Bachelor Nautical
- Experience in rig operations, rig mover or OIM
- Expertise in Drilling, AHTS, MWS and DP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
