Area Sales Manager (FMCG / Personal Care Products)
About this role

What you would do
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets in the territory.
- Manage distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key accounts to boost product availability and sales.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.
- Supervise and support sales representatives to achieve targets.
- Ensure effective product distribution, merchandising and visibility in retail outlets.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors and customers.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and territory performance updates.

- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant FMCG sales experience, preferably in personal care, cosmetics, or homecare.
- Proven experience in distributor management, territory development and delivering sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, leadership and analytical skills.
- Ability to analyse sales performance and identify market growth opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge of the Jos market and surrounding areas is an advantage.
