Area Phone Business Manager - Sapele

About this role

The role is for an Area Phone Business Manager in Sapele, Delta, working to grow PayGo phone sales through a network of commission-based agents. You will recruit, train and support agents, drive daily sales, monitor repayment and inventory, and turn the phone business strategy into field results in a device financing market. What you would do

• Maintain agent stock within variance tolerance and conduct monthly audits
• Track stock movements and deliver accurate weekly reports
• Own quality of sales and coach on customer onboarding, including follow-up on defaults with agents
• Recruit and onboard new agents and develop existing agents to become phone selling agents
• Ensure Litmos Phase 1 certification within two weeks and conduct biweekly coaching sessions
• Enforce branding and sales standards among agents
• Maintain a defined weekly field-contact routine and monitor exit reasons with retention actions
• Recognise top performers monthly and engage with inactive agents
• Meet monthly unit targets and drive agent productivity using micro-incentives
• Coordinate with Marketing on field activations and monitor portfolios for compliance

• Digital literacy including CRM, Looker and stock tools; strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Discipline with data reporting and analysis
• HND/BSc in a business-related field with at least 2 years of hands-on field sales experience
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated area
• PayGo, device financing, or agent-network experience (solar experience is a plus)
