Area Business Manager, Daura (Katsina State)

About this role

Area Business Manager for Daura, Katsina State, with Sun King (formerly Greenlight Planet). The role coordinates sales, collections and direct distribution of Sun King EasyBuy solar products through a network of Energy Officers in the area, with the aim of growing the business and achieving targets in a sustainable way. It is suited to candidates with a business-related degree or equivalent and at least three years of hands-on sales experience.

What you would do

• Hire, train and retain a team of Energy Officers in the area
• Train Energy Officers on sales, collections, product knowledge, technical aspects, inventory and logistics; supervise with integrity and professionalism
• Provide clear task definitions to Energy Officers, including day-to-day duties, routes and targets, and ensure they can demonstrate and resolve basic customer queries
• Conduct weekly field visits to Energy Officers, resolve issues, and participate in the first five sales in collaboration with the EO and Area Manager
• Lead joint field sales and collections activities with Energy Officers, including night activations, market activations and group sales in communities
• Meet or exceed sales and collection targets; monitor progress and report to the Regional Manager; grow the area’s retail presence and manage marketing spend to maximise ROI
