Area Business Manager

About this role

The Area Business Manager will drive SCALE mPower operations in the Ilupeju region of Lagos. The role covers park onboarding, TSS recruitment and management, loan disbursement and collections, and overall regional performance, requiring strong field experience and good people skills to build relationships with park leaders and loan applicants.

What you would do

• Onboard parks in the region and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Document parks and loan applicants.
• Recruit and onboard TSSs for the region.
• Manage TSSs, including coaching and performance reviews.
• Coordinate loan disbursement and collections, monitor repayments, and report KPIs.
• Engage with stakeholders and resolve escalations.

• 4–6 years’ experience in similar field-based or regional operations roles.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in field operations, agent management, or grassroots project execution.
• Proven ability to recruit and lead TSSs or field agents.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• People management skills and the ability to supervise diverse individuals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
