Architect Intern (NYSC) - Lagos

Rotex Glass Limited is recruiting an Architect Intern for NYSC serving in Lagos. The role supports the technical and sales teams on live projects, focusing on fenestration design, specification and project delivery within the Nigerian construction sector. What you would do

• Coordinate with the Technical Operations team on dimensions, tolerances and installation details.
• Liaise with architects, consultants and developers on design queries and product recommendations.
• Prepare and review architectural and shop drawings for windows, doors and glazing systems using AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Attend site surveys and measurements, and prepare site reports.
• Maintain organised drawing records and project files.
• Support the preparation of quotations, technical submissions and tender documents.
• Interpret client and consultant drawings to produce accurate product take-offs and specifications.

What they are asking for

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp or similar tools is an advantage.
• BSc / BTech / HND in Architecture or a related field.
• Currently serving, or about to be mobilised for, the NYSC scheme with a valid call-up letter.
• Good understanding of building materials, construction details and architectural drawing standards.
• Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team, meet deadlines and learn quickly.
