Architect Intern (NYSC) - Abuja

Rotex Glass Limited Nigeria is seeking an Architect Intern on NYSC in Abuja. The role targets architecture graduates serving NYSC who will work with technical and sales teams on live projects related to fenestration design, specification and project delivery in the Nigerian construction sector. The company is a subsidiary of Rotex Group, a European-led glass processing and energy-saving technology business with over 22 years in the industry. The position offers a monthly stipend during the service year and potential progression to permanent roles based on performance.

What you would do

• Prepare and review architectural and shop drawings for windows, doors and glazing systems using AutoCAD or similar tools
• Support the preparation of quotations, technical submissions and tender documents
• Interpret client and consultant drawings to produce accurate product take-offs and specifications
• Maintain organised drawing records and project files
• Attend site surveys and measurements, and prepare site reports
• Coordinate with the Technical Operations team on dimensions, tolerances and installation details
• Liaise with architects, consultants and developers on design queries and product recommendations

• Currently serving, or about to be mobilised for NYSC (valid call-up letter)
• BSc / BTech / HND in Architecture or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp or similar tools is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and good written and verbal communication
• Understanding of building materials, construction details and architectural drawing standards
• Ability to work in a team, meet deadlines and learn quickly
