About this role
The People Office is hiring a full-time Architect for their Lekki, Lagos location. The role involves developing architectural concepts, preparing technical drawings, coordinating design documentation, and supporting interior design and renovation projects. The Architect will translate client briefs into practical, aesthetically pleasing and technically sound spaces, working with interior designers, project managers, contractors and other stakeholders. The position requires strong design skills, technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple design assignments to meet deadlines and quality standards. The employer provides HR consulting services including recruitment, HR setup, and organisational development for growing businesses.
What you would do
- Develop design concepts based on client briefs and project requirements
- Create space plans, layouts, elevations, sections and other architectural documents
- Prepare as-built drawings and coordinate drawings with structural, MEP and interior design teams
- Produce 3D visualisations, models and renderings for concept communication and client presentations
- Prepare material schedules and specifications aligned with design concepts and budgets
- Conduct site visits, assess conditions and monitor design implementation
- Address client feedback and revise designs accordingly
- Clarify drawings and technical details with contractors and installation teams
- Support project documentation, including design deliverables and as-built records
- Collaborate with interior designers, engineers, consultants and contractors to ensure cohesive designs

- Strong portfolio in architectural design, technical drawings and space planning
- Experience with architectural visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray) is an advantage
- 1–5 years of architectural design experience
- Familiarity with building materials, construction methods and site coordination
- Professional registration or eligibility for registration under Nigerian regulations
- Experience in interior design, residential/commercial fit-outs or renovations is an advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related software
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification
- Good understanding of material specifications, finishes and design coordination
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines, and to communicate effectively
