Pedini-Bosch Nigeria Limited in Lagos is seeking an Architect for its Victoria Island team. The role involves creating architectural designs, preparing technical drawings and construction documentation, and coordinating with consultants and clients through the project lifecycle for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will have substantial Lagos experience and a strong project portfolio.
What you would do
- Develop architectural concepts, designs, layouts and detailed drawings for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
- Translate client requirements into practical, functional and aesthetically appealing architectural solutions.
- Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, details and construction documentation.
- Produce 3D models, renders, presentations and design visualisations.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical and other consultants; liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, quantity surveyors and project managers.
- Ensure designs comply with Lagos State planning, building, environmental and safety requirements; monitor construction to ensure implementation of approved designs.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent; Master's degree is an added advantage; registration with the Nigerian architectural regulatory body is an advantage.
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design, construction, real estate or related field; proven experience from concept to construction documentation; strong project portfolio.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one 3D/BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp).
- Knowledge of Nigerian building regulations and Lagos State planning requirements; ability to produce working drawings and specifications.
- Experience coordinating with engineers, consultants and contractors; site inspections and supervision; liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience on Lagos high-density or premium projects; willing to work from the Victoria Island office and manage multiple projects.
