Analyst - Treasury Operations

The role is for an Analyst in Treasury Operations at MTN Nigeria, based in Lagos. What you would do
- Query and verify general ledger balances related to bank accounts
- Monitor cash sweeps and transfers between sub accounts and main accounts
- Perform ratio analysis on banks and analyse risk, exposure, and movements in cash, rates and bank charges
- Collate daily bank indicative quotes for investment placements
- Ensure payments, repayments, interest payments and underwriting fees are processed per mandate
- Evaluate banks for regulatory compliance (e.g., CBN, NOTAP)
- Prepare management reports on market, competitor and economic conditions
- Review bank proposals and provide recommendations to Treasury Manager
- Support business units with Treasury-related needs
- Maintain Treasury records and audit trails in line with MTN policies and procedures

- First degree in Accounting, Economics or related field
- Fluent in English
- Part qualification/membership in a professional accounting association (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Treasury, banking or related financial environment
- Experience working in a medium-sized organisation
- Experience in a financial environment in treasury, banking or FMCG
- Ability to work with others and across divisions
