AML Ops Lead - Transaction Monitoring

What you would do

• Lead a team of five to six AML analysts
• Oversee alert triage and investigations, ensuring thorough, well‑documented case narratives from review to closure
• Conduct independent quality reviews of TM decisions and monitor SLA, QA pass rates, and false positives
• Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing changes with compliance and engineering
• Track and report key metrics (SLA adherence, QA pass rates, false positives) to inform improvements
• Escalate complex or high‑risk cases to senior stakeholders with clear findings

• 4–6 years total AML or Compliance operations experience
• Hands-on AML transaction monitoring or financial crime investigations in remittance/payments or remittance-adjacent environments with high‑volume alerts
• Proven track record leading or supervising a team of analysts with coaching experience
• Working knowledge of OFAC, FCA and FINTRAC regulations and ability to make defensible, risk-based decisions under each framework
• Adaptability to global operational needs and a rapidly changing business/regulatory environment
• Experience identifying and fixing operational inefficiencies through better workflows, tooling or changed team habits
