What you would do

• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report faults or maintenance needs
• Assist with loading and unloading patients with clinical staff
• Safely transport patients to and from the hospital and other designated locations
• Drive hospital vehicles for official assignments as directed
• Respond promptly to authorised transportation requests including emergencies
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
• Keep records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Comply with traffic regulations, hospital policies and patient confidentiality
• Maintain readiness for use of vehicles
• Work shifts as required, including weekends and public holidays

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and first aid
• At least 3 years of driving experience; ambulance or hospital driving experience is an added advantage
• Reliable, punctual, courteous, disciplined and safety-conscious
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations
• Valid Nigerian driver’s licence appropriate for assigned vehicles
