What you would do

• Fabricate, install, repair and maintain aluminium doors, windows, partitions, frames and related structures.
• Take accurate site measurements and interpret drawings to guide fabrication and installation.
• Cut, shape, drill, assemble and fit aluminium profiles and components.
• Install and adjust doors, windows, sliding systems, hinges, locks, handles and rollers.
• Inspect installations for defects, misalignment and operational issues; carry out repairs and replacements as needed.
• Ensure installations are aligned, weather-resistant and meet approved standards.
• Operate fabrication tools and workshop equipment safely.
• Perform routine maintenance on aluminium fixtures to ensure durability.
• Document installations, repairs and outstanding maintenance issues and report to supervisor.
• Coordinate with other technicians and facility staff to complete jobs within timelines.
