Aesthetic Nurse

Mikano International Limited is recruiting a full-time Aesthetic Nurse for Victoria Island, Lagos. The role involves assisting with cosmetic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and delivering customer service to enhance the patient experience. The nurse will handle clinical procedures, patient assessments, and aftercare within a medical or clinic setting.
What you would do
- Maintain electronic medical records and take standard pre- and post-treatment photographs
- Operate devices for laser hair removal, IPL facials, skin tightening, tattoo removal, and non-invasive body contouring
- Administer neurotoxins and dermal fillers to address wrinkles and contouring
- Conduct facial and skin evaluations and create customised treatment plans
- Educate patients on preparation and aftercare protocols
- Monitor and manage adverse reactions or side effects
- Perform non-surgical skin rejuvenation procedures (chemical peels, microneedling, microdermabrasion, mesotherapy)
- Assess patient goals and skin health, review medical histories, and manage expectations
- Maintain adherence to healthcare regulations and clinic protocols
- Document procedures and ensure accurate record keeping
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or associated field, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in a traditional medical setting (e.g., dermatology, beauty clinic, plastic surgery, ICU or ER)
- Practical exposure to data entry, basic bookkeeping or office administrative support
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping and basic accounting applications
