Aesthetic Nurse
About this role
Ascentech Services Limited is hiring a full-time Aesthetic Nurse for its Beauty Clinic in Victoria Island, Lagos. The role focuses on patient safety, comfort, and delivering skincare advice and treatments to support cosmetic and skin rejuvenation procedures. The clinic requires a qualified nurse to perform and assist with advanced skin therapies and injectable treatments, while maintaining documentation and adhering to clinical protocols. Responsibilities include conducting consultations, administering treatments, operating aesthetic devices, and ensuring proper aftercare and follow-up. The position targets nurses with strong communication skills, discretion, and relevant nursing qualifications.
What you would do
- Perform advanced skin treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling, PRP, microdermabrasion, and mesotherapy where qualified.
- Administer injectable treatments including Botox, Dysport, and dermal fillers where trained and authorised.
- Provide skincare recommendations and support treatment follow-ups and rebooking.
- Educate patients on preparation, aftercare, potential side effects, and outcomes.
- Conduct patient consultations and assess medical history, skin conditions, and goals to develop treatment plans.
- Operate aesthetic devices for laser hair removal, IPL, skin tightening, tattoo removal, and non-invasive body contouring where trained.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and ensure documentation and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and take before-and-after photographs.
- Follow clinical protocols, infection prevention, confidentiality, and healthcare regulations.
- Ensure patients feel comfortable, respected, and informed throughout treatment.

- Valid Registered Nurse qualification and current professional registration/licence.
- Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience in medical settings such as dermatology, aesthetic or beauty clinics, plastic surgery, ICU, or emergency care.
- Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree in Nursing (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Experience with aesthetic injectables, advanced skin therapies, and laser devices is an advantage if trained and authorised.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical records and follow safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain procedures and aftercare clearly.
