About this role

Mikano International Limited is hiring a full-time Aesthetic Doctor to provide expert consultation and perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures. The role focuses on facial aesthetics with attention to safety and artistic balance, including injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and energy-based device therapies. The position involves delivering clinical outcomes, preventing complications, and supporting the clinic’s growth and reputation. It is based in Victoria Island, Lagos.

What you would do

• Assess patients’ facial anatomy, skin types, and medical histories to identify aesthetic needs or contraindications.
• Screen clients for signs of body dysmorphic disorder and guide treatment choices ethically.
• Create multi-session treatment plans with expected downtime, maintenance intervals, and cost estimates.
• Administer neuromodulators and dermal fillers for various enhancements.
• Operate laser, IPL, HIFU, and radiofrequency devices for skin resurfacing and tightening.
• Perform chemical peels, PRP microneedling, and mesotherapy for skin and hair goals.
• Identify and manage adverse reactions on-site.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records of treatments, injections, and post-treatment protocols.
• Serve as clinical lead on-site to ensure safety and quality of care.

What they are asking for

• MBBS or equivalent from a university accredited by MDCN.
• Current MDCN registration and practicing licence.
• Master’s degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine, Dermatology, or Cosmetic Medicine is an added advantage.
• 2 to 5+ years of hands-on aesthetic doctor experience in a reputable clinic.
• Proven experience with dermal fillers, laser therapies, and managing complications independently.
