About this role

The role provides technical leadership and guidance for global and country level MHPSS activities within International Medical Corps. It targets mental health professionals with substantial experience who can oversee programme development, implementation, and cross-cutting integration in humanitarian settings.

What you would do

• Support country teams in designing and running MHPSS activities, including MH PHC integration and case management
• Assist in developing MHPSS project proposals and programme expansion
• Ensure MHPSS work aligns with IASC guidelines and IMC standards
• Promote integrated, crosscutting approaches across MHPSS, Nutrition, Health, Child Protection and GBV
• Coordinate with government and other organisations and support field-level coordinating groups
• Develop and apply monitoring and evaluation tools, report progress to senior advisors and directors

• Mental health professional (psychologist, clinical social worker, psychiatrist, or psychiatric nurse)
• At least 5 years of experience establishing and running MHPSS programmes in humanitarian or low-resource settings
• In-depth knowledge of global MHPSS guidelines (e.g., IASC)
• Training and capacity-building experience
• Strong mentoring, organisational, supervisory and reporting skills
• Fluency in English and French, good communication and ability to work in diverse cultural settings
