About this role
Genesis Group, a Nigerian-owned conglomerate with interests in catering, hospitality and related services, is recruiting for Adhoc Wait Staff to support December operations in Lagos. The role is for individuals who are energetic, customer-friendly and available to work throughout December 2026. The employer operates hotels, restaurants, cinemas, and other hospitality and entertainment ventures across Nigeria. This is a contract position for one month in December 2026.
What you would do
- Assist guests with seating and service as required
- Take food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and accurately
- Ensure hygiene and presentation standards are maintained at all times
- Observe health and safety regulations during service
- Collaborate with team to ensure smooth dining experiences
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve minor issues
- Support setup and breakdown of events or peak period activities
- Attend briefings and adhere to company policies
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors
