Accreditation Officer

About this role

A Nigerian employer, Dexterous Applied Training Institute (DATI) in Rivers, is looking for an Accreditation Officer to manage the institute’s accreditation portfolio and ensure compliance with national and international standards. What you would do

• Manage end-to-end accreditation applications and renewals with national and international bodies.
• Serve as primary liaison with accrediting bodies, handle submissions, correspondence, and audit schedules.
• Monitor regulatory changes and perform gap analyses to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for accreditations, renewals and audits with proper version control.
• Coordinate external accreditation audits, including logistics and staff preparation.
• Identify compliance risks, maintain a risk log and implement CAPA plans for non-conformances.
• Maintain a central register of all accreditations, scopes, validity periods and renewals.
• Provide expert advice to management on accreditation requirements and operational/curricular implications.

What they are asking for

• B.Sc. with 2nd class Upper or HND Upper Credit in Law, Public Administration, Business Administration, Educational Management, Quality Management, Engineering or related field (or Office Management/Social Sciences).
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in accreditation, regulatory compliance, quality assurance or a related role.
• Experience interfacing with national and international accreditation bodies and regulatory agencies.
• Experience in the education, training or vocational sector is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of managing accreditation audits and renewals.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and risk management concepts (ISO 31000).
• High integrity and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, document management systems and accreditation portals.
