Accounts Payable Officer

What you would do

• Receive and process supplier invoices and payment requests
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
• Reconcile supplier statements with internal records
• Maintain up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation
• Prepare payment schedules and assist with cash flow planning
• Ensure all invoices and payments have proper approvals and documentation
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on due payments
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned

• BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or similar role
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
