Accounting Manager

What you would do
- Lead accounting and financial reporting processes
- Manage cash flow and liquidity planning
- Oversee tax compliance and statutory reporting
- Ensure internal controls and financial governance
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Produce management reports and budget versus actual analysis
- Support importation, distribution and manufacturing operations
- Coordinate reporting to overseas headquarters or international teams
- Engage in audits and strengthen risk management
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations for management decisions
What they are asking for
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA or equivalent) and fully qualified preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA/Masters an advantage
- Minimum 10 years in accounting/finance within FMCG (food and beverage)
- Experience with importation, distribution and manufacturing operations
- Strong IFRS knowledge and Nigerian accounting, taxation and statutory reporting
- Experience in senior accounting/finance leadership role or audit background
- Experience reporting to international management and/or overseas headquarters
- Proven ability to provide reliable financial analysis and cost accounting
- Experience with external or internal audit and risk management
- Strong technical accounting and financial control skills
