Accounting and Finance Operation Specialist

Green Africa, a Lagos-based airline, is seeking an Accounting and Finance Operations Specialist in Lagos. The role supports daily financial operations, including maintaining accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing reconciliations. It also supports financial reporting, tax compliance and audit activities.

What you would do

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records including ledgers, journals, invoices and receipts.
• Review source documents to validate, classify and record financial transactions promptly.
• Process supplier invoices and payments with appropriate authorisation and internal controls.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting activities.
• Support tax, audit and regulatory compliance activities.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• NYSC completed.
• 3-4 years of related work experience.
• Experience maintaining accounting records and processing financial transactions.
• Experience in accounts payable and payment operations.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliations and financial reporting, including month-end close, with understanding of tax, audit and regulatory requirements.
