What you would do
- File all tax returns including personal, company income, sales, and withholding taxes
- Compute landed cost by including procurement, freight, customs duties, and logistics for inventory valuation
- Prepare tax provisions and financial statements to comply with accounting standards
- Ensure compliance to avoid fines for statutory obligations
- Improve landed cost allocation for imported goods for accurate costing and reporting
- Review weekly payment schedules to confirm correct taxes are applied
- Process regulatory certificates and participate in desk reviews and tax audits
- Reconcile compliance-related general ledgers and propose monthly adjustment journals
- Monitor insurance to minimise risk and renewals where needed
- Participate in external audits and manage relationships with tax consultants, brokers, vendors, and auditors

- HND or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA, etc.) preferred
- English language proficiency
- Strong computer and Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (preferably Odoo)
- Attention to detail and good organisational ability
- Team-oriented with integrity and resourcefulness
- Experience in income statement and balance sheet analysis
