About this role
An on-site Accountant role at OBIDA in Lagos, focusing on keeping accurate financial records and valuing stock from raw materials to finished goods. What you would do
- Process payables and manage receivables and bank reconciliations.
- Cost materials, work-in-progress and finished goods down to each SKU.
- Coordinate weekly stock counts and monthly stock reconciliations with Operations.
- Investigate stock variances and track waste, COGS and gross margins.
- Deliver monthly books and inventory reports for filings.
- Maintain separate, well-supported records for each business and provide reconciliations.

- 4-8 years of accounting experience
- Accounting degree or HND
- Hands-on inventory accounting and SKU-level costing
- Experience with stock variance investigations and reconciliations
- Proficiency in spreadsheet-based costing and reporting
- Experience with accounting software and ERP inventory records
