An accounting professional is needed for West Side Beach Resort & Hotel in Lagos to manage month-end reports, bank reconciliations, financial statements, budgets, payroll, and tax compliance for the business. The role targets candidates with hotel accounting experience and resides in or near Ajah, Lagos.
What you would do
- Produce monthly accounts and compare with forecasts and prior periods
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare profit and loss statements and balance sheets for senior management
- Assist in budgeting and business planning, including projected room revenue
- Control payroll and ensure VAT and PAYE compliance
- Monitor cash flow, chase late payments, and report bad debts

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5 to 10 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a hotel
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and hotel PMS

- Professional certifications like ICAN are an advantage
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
