What you would do
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure annual audited reports are ready for management by the first quarter of the following year
- Collaborate with unit heads to prepare annual operating and capital expenditure budgets
- Carry out monthly reconciliation of inter-company accounts and correct inconsistencies
- Identify training needs and liaise with HR to implement staff development plans
- Attend and facilitate employee development programmes as required
- Institute cost-saving measures and present monthly cost-saving reports to the MD
- Supervise reconciliation of bank accounts and address variances
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reconciliations to Management
- Analyze financial data for control weaknesses, potential fraud or non-compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and manage payroll processes

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MBA an advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Accounts Officer in a medium/large organisation
- Associate member of ACA or similar certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills

- Ability to interpret financial reports for management decisions
- Treasury and investment management skills
- Proven financial analysis, reporting and management capability
