An Accountant role based in Akinyele, Oyo, for a detail‑oriented professional to manage financial transactions, ledgers and reporting within a HR services firm.
What you would do
- Record daily financial transactions and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare balance sheets and income statements and other financial reports
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking performance against goals
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns in line with policies
- Support internal and external audits by organising financial documents
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- At least 6 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage or FreshBooks)
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, tax regulations and GAAP/IFRS
- Professional certification such as ACA, CPA, CMA or local equivalent is an added advantage
