About this role
Two qualified Accountants are sought to join the client’s Accounts and Finance team in Lagos. Candidates should have a solid accounting background and hands-on experience with Tally ERP; experience in a manufacturing setup is an added advantage. The role involves handling standard accounting tasks and collaborating with the finance team.
What you would do
- Pass purchase bills and maintain accurate GRN records
- Post payment entries, sales invoices, debit notes and credit notes
- Maintain and update accounting records using Tally ERP
- Ensure VAT and WHT compliance
- Prepare and review financial reports as required
- Collaborate with the finance team to support daily operations
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior accounting work experience
- Proficiency in Tally ERP
- Knowledge of core accounting processes: purchase bills, GRN, payment postings, sales invoices, debit notes, credit notes
- Working knowledge of VAT and WHT rules; MS Office proficiency
- Manufacturing experience preferred; available to work Saturdays (half day)
