The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping, statutory compliance, tax management, payroll, and financial reporting to support operations for a cleaning and facilities services business in Lagos. The role focuses on cashflow integrity, cost control across service contracts, and timely regulatory filings.
What you would do
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage payroll processing and statutory deductions.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
