NewsDirect Global Concepts Limited, trading as Nigerian NewsDirect, is looking for an Accountant to manage financial operations and keep accurate records. The role also involves ensuring compliance and supporting management decision making.
What you would do
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable and perform bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, income, expenditure and financial transactions.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure timely payment of statutory taxes and other financial obligations.
What they are asking for
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- ICAN, ACCA or other recognised professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and any accounting software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with high level of integrity, accuracy and confidentiality.
