What you would do
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Monitor income, expenditure, cash flow, accounts payable and receivable
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Process invoices, receipts, and authorised payments
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control
- Prepare payroll schedules and support statutory deductions and remittances
- Ensure documentation for audits and tax compliance
- Monitor inventory-related accounting records and reconcile stock values
- Provide financial information to management to support business decisions

- BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, and taxation
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- High integrity, confidentiality, accountability and professionalism
- Experience in trading, distribution, retail, or inventory-based businesses is an advantage
