Account Personnel

About this role

An Account Personnel role to prospect, secure and retain business and to develop and manage relationships with existing clients and vendors. The successful candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

What you would do

• Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy and conformance to reporting standards.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns in compliance with tax requirements.
• Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or advise management.
• Report to management on the organisation's finances.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to the appropriate accounts.
• Develop, implement and document record-keeping and accounting systems using current computer technology.

What they are asking for

• BSc Degree in Accounting with a Second Class Upper (2:1) or related field; ICAN is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Power BI and accounting analysis.
