Account Payable Officer

What you would do

• Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding supplier balances
• Process supplier invoices and other accounts payable transactions
• Support month-end closing and accounts reconciliation
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare payment schedules and ensure payments follow approved procedures
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls
• Keep accounts payable records accurate and up-to-date

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
• Current residence near Victoria Island, Lagos
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and integrity
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounts payable experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
