About this role
The Account Officer will manage the company’s financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role covers project and property accounting, internal controls, and providing financial leadership to support decision making for a Lagos-based real estate company.
What you would do
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS and policy requirements
- Oversee general ledger, payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and closing processes
- Monitor budgets, project costs, cash flow, and profitability with variance analysis
- Manage tax compliance, statutory filings, and audits in line with regulatory and ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Establish internal controls and risk management systems
- Support procurement and project teams with financial evaluations and cost control
