Account Officer

Westbridge Industries Limited is seeking a full-time Account Officer for its Lagos operations (Ikeja). The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, for candidates residing in Ikeja, Ojota, Ketu and surrounding areas.

What you would do

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and records.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, expenses, and other financial documents.
• Reconcile bank, cash, customer, supplier, and other accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date financial files and support audits by providing required records.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree or HND in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
• Three to four years of relevant accounting or finance experience are preferred.
• Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; experience with accounting software is preferred.
• Must reside around Ikeja, Ojota, Ketu and environs.
