Account Officer

About this role

Proforce Limited in Ogun is hiring an Account Officer. The role supports daily accounting tasks, financial record-keeping, reconciliations, cost monitoring and financial reporting, and requires practical knowledge of engineering and automobile manufacturing operations.

What you would do

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, journals and other accounting documents.
• Perform daily bank, cash and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Monitor and record expenses, purchases, inventory and operational costs.
• Assist in tracking production, engineering, maintenance and project-related costs.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or automobile environment.
• Practical knowledge of engineering and automobile manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of manufacturing costs, inventory, procurement, production and maintenance expenses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software.
• Professional accounting certification or part-qualification is an advantage.
