Account Officer

What you would do

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping records
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Record and process customer payments and vendor invoices
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts
• Prepare and process payments and cash disbursements
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and adherence to policies and controls

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, payable/receivable, and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar ERP)
• Good organizational, time-management, and communication skills
