Account Executive
About this role
A role for an Accounts Executive to join the Finance team at President Paints Nigeria Limited in Lagos. The role focuses on recording financial transactions, preparing and processing accounting documents, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. What you would do
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system
- Prepare and process payment vouchers, receipts, invoices, and related documents
- Reconcile bank, customer, supplier, and other ledger balances
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments with Sales team
- Maintain filing and documentation of financial records
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and reconciliations
- Reconcile sales, stock-related financial records and production reports with departments
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Production and Procurement to resolve financial discrepancies
- Carry out other accounting duties as assigned
What they are asking for
- Minimum HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- ICAN/ACCA qualification is an added advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
