The role is for an Account Assistant at Premium Feedmills, part of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, based in Ibadan, Oyo. It focuses on supporting expense management and accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of vendor invoices, accurate records, timely payments, and reliable reports across all locations. The responsibilities include handling invoices with and without purchase orders, preparing payment schedules, executing vendor payments, managing vendor and IOU accounts, performing reconciliations, posting journal entries in D365, and contributing to month-end reports and internal controls. The candidate should have an OND in accounting or related field, 3–4 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, plus strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills.
What you would do
- Process vendor invoices with POs and GRVs for the Ibadan plant.
- Process vendor invoices without POs/GRVs per policy.
- Prepare payment schedules and cash disbursement plans.
- Execute vendor payments via the designated banking platform.
- Manage vendor accounts and staff IOU accounts.
- Perform vendor and bank ledger reconciliations.
- Post payment-related journal entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Prepare vendor ageing and staff IOU ageing reports for month-end.
- Ensure daily posting of transactions and accurate financial records.
- Support compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
